After a 7 month hiatus due to a major career adjustment/promotion/relocation, I’m back in the writing saddle. Baby steps. So far only writing on days off. Long hours plus long commute = not much writing time. I’m more family man than writer so family is the priority. It’s probably going to hurt me (writing) but it’s a small price to pay. The kids will grow up and leave and I won’t get this time back. I know how I am and I’ll regret not doing more with them.
But the creative juices are flowing again and I’m working on a short story, the first in many months.
